Step 1: Complete the KA+Co collection questionnaire
This helps me get to know you and what you're looking for to compose an accurate quote. If I have any questions, I will follow up via email. If you’d like to see a design in a different color before proceeding, I’d be happy to send you a mock-up.
Step 3: Review proposal
You'll receive a proposal to review, as well as instructions on how to secure your wedding date on my design calendar.
Step 4: It's go time
Next, you will receive access to a personal client portal where we will communicate and keep things organized throughout our design process. You will also get some homework from me to compile wording for your suite.
Step 5: Review design proofs
I will get designing your invitation suite. You will receive the designs digitally 5-7 days after signing and paying 50% deposit. This is your chance to review the proofs and provide any feedback to fine-tune to your desire. For the fastest turnaround, please provide revisions to your design within two days of receipt. You are limited to three rounds of edits, so please be thoughtful in your changes.
Step 6: Approve final designs and print!
Yay! Your invitations are complete and will be sent to print. Your completed invitations will be packaged and sent off to you to assemble and send to your guests!
These are just a handful of the most frequently asked questions I get asked about the KA+Co Collection design process. If you have any other questions, I would be happy to answer them for you. Let’s get in touch and I'll make sure to provide you with all of the deets.
DO YOU PRINT YOUR DESIGNS IN-HOUSE OR DO YOU WORK WITH A PRINTER?
This is a good question. While many designers offer in-house printing, I do not. I like to leave that to the pros to ensure that all of my designs are printed at a professional quality on the best paper.
While I mostly design with digital, flat print methods, a local company I work with are experts at letterpress and foil stamping. I love working with these folks for any of my brides/grooms who are interested in fine print and finishing methods.
DO YOU HAVE A PRICING GUIDE I CAN REFERENCE?
Since pricing varies due to a number of factors (print type, quantity, paper, etc.), I do not have a pricing guide. Once you fill out the form for the collection design of your choice, I will send you a follow up email and begin creating a custom proposal specific to the quantity, items and printing/finishing you prefer!
How many rounds of revisions do I get?
You are allotted 3 rounds of revisions from the initial design. Please be thoughtful and concise in your feedback to limit the rounds needed as additional changes will be charged at my hourly rate of $100.
Can I add on other enclosure cards?
Yes, I do offer additional card designs and can incorporate these into your quote.
HOW LONG DOES THE ENTIRE PROCESS TAKE?
This largely depends on your ability to give concise feedback on the designs. From the design approval date, you should expect to receive your invitations within 2 weeks for digital/flat designs and 4 weeks for foil and letterpress designs.
If you are interested in the KA+Co Collection, please complete the KA+Co Collection questionnaire, and I will be in touch to prepare your proposal.
