In late June, Caleb and Molly became husband and wife in the hills of Waitsfield, Vermont at Lareau Farm Inn. I was honored to take part in designing some pieces for their wedding as Caleb is my cousin! Caleb’s dad, my uncle, married the two at an intimate outdoor ceremony that included mixing two beers from their home states - Oberon and Golden Monkey. And yes, they then drank it and claimed it wasn’t bad! Also, check out the ultimate wedding selfie taken at the ceremony.
Molly and Caleb met through Molly's cousin, one of Caleb's best friends, Max. Caleb was always hanging around with Max when Molly would take trips to visit him in Pennsylvania. Molly always knew Caleb as the goofy friend of Max's, but Caleb insists he has been in love with her since they met when she was 16. Multiple years later through Max, Molly and Caleb reconnected. They had their first kiss on top of Federal Hill in Baltimore and later both moved to Vermont before getting engaged!
Tragically, Max passed away suddenly before their wedding. As a big part of their relationship, the two wanted to make sure his presence was still felt throughout the day. In her bouquet, Molly hung a framed photo of him. The two also have tattoos in his honor.
Both Caleb and Molly put so much thought into planning their day and it showed in every detail. We had pizza for dinner and donuts for dessert, played lawn games, got down on the dance floor and ended the night with a bonfire. Every guest even got a cute mini bottle of Vermont maple syrup to take home.
If you’ve never been to Vermont, I highly recommend it!
