What is the KA+Co Collection and why should I care?
Good question, why should you care? That part is really up to you, but I guess you already are reading this, lol. The KA+Co Collection is a set of pre-designed invitation suites that are customizable with your own wording, colors and printing type. These are a lovely alternative option to completely custom that is more cost effective with the same quality of using a graphic designer versus a website.
What is the difference between the KA+Co Collection and custom wedding design?
Custom wedding design is entirely well, custom. Each couple will walk away with an invitation suite that is uniquely them with a more in-depth process and options to choose from. The Collection’s curated designs can only be altered in terms of wording (names, dates, time, location), colors and how it’s printing.
Give me the basics. What do I need to know about how this works?
Types of Printing: All wedding invitation designs are available in flat printing while only some are available in letterpress and foil printing. Don’t know the difference? Check out my blog post to learn more.
Paper: The KA+Co Collection is available to be printed on warm white or bright white 100% pillowy cotton paper.
Ink Colors: Most all designs can be edited to match your wedding color palette, with a few exceptions (noted on the specific design page). Simply send me any inspiration you’d like to match! If you are having trouble envisioning the design in your colors, I’m happy to provide you a mock-up prior to placing your order.
Envelopes: The KA +Co Collection is available on your choice of bright white or ivory 100% cotton envelopes. Colored envelopes are also available, but at an additional cost.
Addressing: All invitation orders include complimentary return address printing. Guest addressing is available for an additional cost. You will need to provide your guest addresses in an excel document I will supply to you once you’ve placed your order.
Wording: Before placing your order, you will need to compile your wording. I will share with you a template to get your started once you choose your design. I also have a few resources on the blog to help you think through your invite and reply card wording! Please note, to uphold the integrity of the original design it is best to stay close to the original wording.
How many rounds of revisions do I get?
You are allotted 3 rounds of revisions from the initial design. Please be thoughtful and concise in your feedback to limit the rounds needed as additional changes will be charged at my hourly rate of $100.
Can I add an enclosure care?
Yes, I do offer additional card designs and can incorporate these into your quote.
How long does the entire process take?
This largely depends on your ability to give concise feedback on the designs. From the design approval date, you should expect to receive your invitations within 2 weeks for digital/flat designs and 4 weeks for foil and letterpress designs.
If you are interested in the KA+Co Collection, please complete the KA+Co Collection questionnaire, and I will be in touch to prepare your proposal.
